The secret to great style?
It’s that you DON’T need the latest trends to look good.
You just need to translate WHO YOU ARE into a functional wardrobe that will fit perfectly, every day.
💋 The 3 elements that create an unforgettable personal style (and how to dial each one to bring out your unique beauty)
💋 The real reason why “it looked great on her!” but didn’t look so great on you (hint: it’s not your body)
💋 And the section of your closet where your ideal style already exists (pro tip: I skip shirts and go straight here when working with clients)
A few years ago,
I was sleepwalking through a postpartum fog, with a closet full of influencer-approved beige clothes that, honestly, had me bored to tears. I knew there must be more to midlife style than this, so I got obsessed with figuring out a reliable, analytical way to build personal style beyond copying Instagrammers or YOLO shopping.
After years of research, learning from pro stylists, and testing frameworks, I developed a data-driven method that actually works - and now I teach it to smart women who want confidence and self-expression, not bland trends.
YES! SAVE MY SEAT!See what other women like you have to say:
So much more confident in how to put a better outfit together
“Over the last 10 years my life has changed A LOT. Had kids, moved to a small coastal town, started a company, went through a stay at home pandemic and generally did a lot of things that weren't focused on me. I have never been a confident shopper or confident in my personal style, but that had slipped even more in the last decade. I was really struggling with finding clothes that felt like they fit my lifestyle, fit my body and fit my personality. Most of the things in my closet felt safe and pretty freakin' boring. I'm feeling so much more confident now, both in how to put a better outfit together with what I already own, AND that when I go to the store, whatever I buy will be so much more aligned with ME.”

I feel like I'm having fun again with my clothes!
“Gillian is not about a capsule wardrobe or 10 pieces you have to buy for fall. She's much more strategic in helping you really find what works for you as far as style, colors, lifestyle, and preferences. She's not trying to fit you into a style box or current trends, rather she's paving the way for what works for you. She made clothes fun for me at a time when I was prone to yoga paints and stained t-shirts, and has made it a form of expression and a reason to get excited in the morning.”

Now when something feels off, I can troubleshoot
“Do it! A game changer and a must! Getting dressed in the morning was my least favourite part of my morning routine. Staring at my closet full of clothes and trying to piece together an outfit that was “me.” I didn’t know why some outfits never felt complete and why some pieces never really looked good together. Now, when something feels off, I can troubleshoot. It’s so fun now to shop my closet and experiment knowing I don’t have to fit into “one box” or “one style/archetype. Gillian genuinely wants you to explore, try, and for it to be YOUR style. She debunks all the myths and other factors that may have influenced your style in the past!”

I can bypass 85% of the store
“Gillian totally shifted my mindset about my personal style to something that could be fun, creative, and worth my time. She gave me a framework to make shopping decisions, color & styling choices, and figure out why some of the clothes in my closet never made me feel great...now I feel so much more confident and interested in identifying what WILL make me feel my best, something I never thought I'd say!”

I’m actually excited about shopping
“Before working with Gillian, I felt like a lost fashion lamb. I didn't know what I was supposed to purchase to elevate my wardrobe or what was a better representation of me. I only gravitated toward black and white separates, but they never seemed to fit together or work. I had been afraid of standing out, but I'm learning to not be afraid of that and that it's okay to try new things and be bold in a way that is authentic to me.
I am actually excited about shopping for the first time in a long time.”

No longer starting from zero
I was at a thrift shop today and I had this amazing feeling as I looked around and saw people kind of casually going through every. Single. Item. On the rack. I thought, I don't have to do that! If I found something in my color and my size, I knew instantly if it was my style. It makes someone like me, who isn't a fashionista or hip with current trends, feel confident in my clothing and style.
